May 10, 2013, marked the completion of the second and final stage of Immochan’s investment in Łomianki near Warsaw. The opening of the new and expanded Auchan Łomianki shopping center will provide shoppers with a total of 30 thousand sq m of retail space, with many expanded alleyways, numerous stores, and an Auchan hypermarket.
“The Auchan shopping center in Łomianki is our youngest investment. The facility has huge potential, due to its perfect location in Warsaw’s suburbs, as well as its diverse offer. Shoppers will do trendy shopping in Łomianki, will conveniently run errands in service outlets here, and will also spend quality time in a pleasant environment. It creates convenience for this part of the region, because now shoppers can find anything they might need under one roof, and won’t have to go to the congested city center,” says Anna Gospodarek, the Manager of the Auchan Łomianki shopping center.

The opening of the rebuilt part of the shopping mall first took place on November 30, 2012. In May, several months after the celebration, the Auchan hypermarket and its 50-unit mall was joined by new tenants.
The facility was designed so that it would provide comfort to all shoppers. Shoppers with disabilities are provided with numerous facilities in the parking lot and bathrooms. Getting around the venue is easy thanks to special ramps. The shopping center is child-friendly too. There is a modern playground available, equipped with an interactive multimedia floor, and an interactive touch-table.
The Auchan Łomianki shopping center is located on Brukowiecka 25 in Łomianki. The shopping center provides 1820 parking spaces, including 25 for persons with disabilities.
The shopping mall’s reach spans more than 1.2 million inhabitants. This includes inhabitants of the Łomianki Municipality (Polish: gmina) and it’s neighborhood, as well as Warsaw’s northernmost districts of Bielany and Białołęka. The construction and development of the Auchan Łominaki shopping mall was one of the largest investments in the municipality. It involved rebuilding one of the main roads, building an overpass, and rebuilding the water management infrastructure in the area.
